Author and illustrator David Shannon and children’s and adult author N.E. Bode were apart of the 2009 Walla Walla Kids Read program. Thousand’s of elementary students in Walla Walla and College Place were treated to presentations by both authors at Cordiner Hall who both stressed the importance of reading, writing and using your imagination.
