Saturday promises to be one of those days. I will be doing a book signing at Robison Ranch Cellers during Winter Barrel Tasting.
Meaning people with glasses of good wine will be walking around, enjoying life and perhaps talking to me. In the meantime, I get to bask in the company of the winery’s winemaker, Brad Riordan, and his wife Ruth — two folks who have become pretty darn special in my life.
Last year, at this event, I got to sample Brad’s first effort at a rose, which was love at first sip. I promptly ordered a bottle for my favorite uncle. This year, there promises to be syrah.
I know, it’s a hard life, working on a Saturday and all.
