I am interested in using your skunk photo for an upcoming book about the biodiversity of Belize. I know that this is not a southern spotted skunk which occurs in Belize but I have been unable to locate a really good photo of a southern skunk. I work with a non profit organization who is helping to fund the publication of the book with the expressed idea of educating the local people about the amazing diversity in the area.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Anyone interested in reading further about the re-introduction of this amazing species in the wild in the Negev desert near Eilat, Israel, read: "High Hills and Wild Goats: Life Among the Animals of the Hai-Bar Wildlife Refuge" by Bill Clark. The author also discusses how a gore wound was repaired in a large male oryx in captivity. You can read a short book summary here: http://www.melbabooks.com/misc/wildgoats.html
